چکیده
Abstract Hydraulic fracturing and permeability enhancement are effective methods to improve low-permeability coal seams. However, few studies focused on increase permeability, there no suitable prediction for engineering applications. In this work, PFC2D software was used simulate seam hydraulic fracturing. The results were in a coupled mathematical model of the interaction between deformation gas flow. show that displacement velocity particles direction minimum principal stress, cracks propagate maximum stress. pressure drop rate fracture higher than non-fracture model. Both parameters decrease rapidly with an drainage time approach 0. longer time, more complex network is, faster drops. impact effect declines over time. As increases, difference horizontal vertical increases. decreases as initial void pressure, drops, greater is. influence research provide guidance predicting anti-reflection underground mines.

To capture the hydraulic fractures in heterogeneous and layered rocks, a numerical code that can consider the coupled effects of fluid flow, damage, and stress field in rocks is presented. Based on the characteristics of a typical thin and inter-bedded sedimentary reservoir, China, a series of simulations on the hydraulic fracturing are performed. In the simulations, three points, i.e., (1) con...

The drops are used to control the descents, stabilize the bed level, and control the upstream water level in sloping channels with less slope than the ground slope. The current study presents a numerical analysis of hydraulic characteristics in the vertical drop using computational fluid dynamics. At first, the laboratory models were used for verification and choosing the best model of turbule...
